I have been out of work since the end of December. I'm in HR- a recruiter by profession- so I am quite familiar with a lot of the tips that you suggested. What really struck me was the level of compassion that you exhibit within your writing. Too often during my job search over the past few months I have interacted with recruiters and HR professionals who have a complete lack of compassion for those looking for work. When I was working, I fulfilled my daily duties and responsibilities while maintaining a level of respect for those that I worked with and those that I was hiring. I would like to think that all professionals- as workers and as people- would have the same level of respect. So far, I have been proved wrong. While this is disheartening, I am hopeful and optimistic that I am going to find a job that is right for me, and that a job will come to me based on principles of respect.
