You may have heard my Tweets about “LiveSEO“, but I was a bit vague… well truth is that I was still formulating the plan…And now the plan is ready to roll out!

LiveSEO is an experiment we came up with to take an ecommerce site from it’s early stages, and write up blog posts detailing the SEO efforts we put into the site to drive traffic to it and build it into a full-fledged profitable store.

The ecommerce store that we’re using for this LiveSEO experiment is a lingerie store that we named Be Sexy Today.  The store is a ZenCart shopping cart, and was professionally designed by a programmer I located on Rent A Coder.  Be Sexy Today currently has about 800 products online, from 2 different manuctuers.

This is an opportunity for you to follow along, learn some tips and tricks and implement new techniques to your site, and gain the much needed traffic you’ve been after.

We feel that where Be Sexy Today stands is a good starting point for a lot of stores that are out there today.  Many of them have products uploaded, but are yet to be successful.  We want to demonstrate that their is hope!!

With the recent down turn in the economy, we also realize that many people are turning to the Internet as a way to start a business to either supplement their income, or replace it after being laid off.   Both cases usually have a limited supply of extra money to pitch in to marketing, so our experiment will also keep marketing dollars to a minimum, to show that there are creative ways to generate traffic to your site.

LiveSEO will be updating about once a week here at www.kettlewell.net, and their will be more frequent updates on Twitter, both by @kettlewell and @besexy.
