Moxie Mafia Kicks Off!

Well, it’s been a long 6 months of writing, but Jennifer Kettlewell (my most beautiful wife and best friend in the whole wide world), has finally finished her book on social networking.  It’s called, Moxie Mafia – Social Media Success.

Moxie Mafia actually started out as a women’s mastermind group that she started here in Grand Junction, Colorado. After seeing the success of the mastermind group, she decided that she needed to tell more women around the world about the ins and outs of social media. Moxie Mafia is a social networking system designed especially for the needs of women entrepreneurs and business owners.

If you don’t know Jennifer, she’s a mother to 4 adorable children, ages 12, 5, & twin 3 year olds, she’s the Vice President of Kettlewell Enterprises, she’s the assistant director of BNI in North West Colorado, she’s sporting a fancy 4.0 GPA while finishing up her MBA at Mesa State College (my alumnus school), she keeps Bizopoly running, AND she still cooks wonderful meals.

Now, aside from my bragging about my wife (which I’m always proud to do), it’s plain to see that she is motivated and dedicated to everything that she does. Her book is no different…

Her book is over 180 pages, filled to the brim with social media content, and it’s more than just a book.  It’s a step-by-step guide on how to create your own mastermind system (as taught by Napoleon Hill), through 52 weekly lessons.

If you’ve been looking for extra ways to gain business during recessionary times, a mastermind system, based on Hills teachings, and incorporating 21st century social networking technology, is the perfect way to proceed.

You can take a look at her Moxie Mafia sales page, and see the 12 supplemental training materials that she’s written too ( I told you she’s motivated ). I was encouraging her to stop at 6 extra reports, but she insisted that material would be missing if she didn’t write them up and include them… so you get 12 supplemental materials, plus the jumbo sized book.

And it doesn’t end with the book either… she’s created a Moxie Mafia support blog, where she’s posting updates, tips & ideas, AND (with her there is always an ‘and’), she’s doing a weekly live radio show on Blog Talk Radio, which she captures and archives the podcast on the Moxie Mafia blog for future listening opportunities.

And now that the book and supplemental material are written and available to purchase, Jennifer is off to give training session seminars on social media, and she gives away her book as a bonus, just for attending.

I highly recommend that you check out the Moxie Mafia blog and get involved in all things Moxie –

And guys, it’s OK to visit… I learn a lot there too.

12 Days of an SEO Christmas

‘Tis the season for days of twelve, with a partridge in a pear tree, but in the SEO world the twelve days look a little different…

On the first day of Christmas

On the second day of Christmas

Two title tags
and a website with a good plan

On the third day of Christmas

What does the memory of an ant have to do with Internet Marketing?

Creatures of habit…

How many web sites do you visit on a regular basis?  Maybe your list looks something like mine: CNN, Facebook, Ecademy, LinkedIn, Mesa State, and Google.  There are more…but these are the web sites that I visit each and every day.

What happens when my web traffic patterns are disrupted?  If any of you have seen the Disney film “Bugs Life” you know what can happen when something unexpected gets dropped in your path.  If you haven’t seen “Bugs Life” ask a four year old….where else would you get your marketing advice?

Ok…for those who have not seen “Bugs Life” it is in the beginning of the movie and the ants are collecting food.  The ants are following a line to where the food is to be deposited.  A leaf falls into the path and the ant behind the leaf begins to panic, shouting “I lost the line! Where’s the line!” At this point a senior ant walks down the hill takes the lost ant around the leaf and the once lost ant is so overjoyed when he finds the line again.

People are no different, when it comes to web searching habits.
