Hootsuite is my favorite online Twitter application because it allows me to group friends & searches into columns, has a built-in URL shortener, and allows tracking of stats for the links you shorten with their service.
They also allow for scheduled tweets, but the interface is a bit awkward at first. Once you know what’s going on, scheduled tweets are a Hoot! (ok, bad joke)
Take a peek at this video, it’s less than 2 minutes long, and easy to follow. (if not tell me, and I’ll redo it after I cry!)

Sorry to be off topic, but I like your posts and I wanted some feedback for my blog. I have a hard time writing, but I do want to share my experiences. Am I stuck between a rock and a hard place? Or should I just do it?

Farewell Lost, I may try to remember you!
Nicely done Matt. What screen capture software did you use? TweetDeck has been letting me down more and more…so I’m gradually gravitating over to HootSuite. What was the one you are using on your iPhone?

@Rick Castellini: Screen Capture software is TechSmiths Camtasia.. I then store it on Amazon Web Services as an .FLV and use FlowPlayer to display it, and give the fullpage view to better see the screen capture. … TweetDeck gave me some problems from the start, so I was using the Twitter interface until Jen showed me HooteSuite. It definitely works well, and has a lot of user and developer support. For the iPhone I’m using SimplyTweet it’s the only iPhone app I’ve paid for, and I’ve never regretted it. It has an awesome search by location feature to find tweeters that are near you, URL shortening, image uploads with tweets, etc… everything you’d expect from a desktop app, and more!
Muchos gracias senor…I will check out SimplyTweet again. I too use Camtasia (great software), but upload to http://YouTube.com/CastTV where I’m closing in on 3/4 million views and hundreds of subscribers trying to do the cross promotion thing.
